If the old adage is correct and a picture really is worth a thousand words, then Niles Township’s 2023 can almost be considered a tome. Our year-end video summarizes just how jam-packed of a year we experienced together as a community.
Before we say goodbye and begin another eventful year, we wanted to make our Township Tale this month all about 2023. And we wanted to say thank you to our community — thank you for supporting us, for donating and volunteering, for spreading the word about the services we offer, for helping us help those most vulnerable in our community.
Our Niles Township Food Pantry assists those facing hardships with putting food on the table for their families. Our Respite Center provides needed daytime space for our housing insecure population. Our Assessor’s Office delivers essential tax relief help during tumultuous financial times.
But also as meaningful to us is being part of this great community. We welcome people in our community gardens throughout the season and we regularly connect at events with all of you, some of which we co-sponsor or organize.
Take a look at our brief video to see all we accomplished together this past year. We’re proud of these accomplishments, but we won’t dwell on them for too long. There is too much work to be done. It’s onto the new year — a year of continued support for those in need and a year of coming together as one amazing community.
